History
The first Marists arrived in Samoa in 1845. There were two priests, Frs. Roudaire and Violette and Brother Jacques. The first church was built at Mulinuu.
Bishop Elloy was made first Vicar Apostolic of Samoa in 1870.
Our men
The Marist region of Samoa is small.
There are just six priests, two Brothers, one seminarian on pastoral year.

Lepea Parish has a community two Marists
The Regional House at Leufisa, Apia, where there are three Marists.
